Inverenzie Cottage - Rooms with a view!

A holiday to remember, with stunning views, a comfortable cottage, and just a drive away from some of the best spots in the cairngorms. Really recommend, it’s worth every penny!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The cottage is situated at a hill overlooking the heatherfields and the meadows. Very relaxing. The house is very well equipped (but we were a bit unlucky with flaky internet) and lovely designed.

Dear Hilde and team, Inverenzie Cottage had everything we wished for. The location is perfect. A magnificent view with spectacular skies, cosy sheep and wildlife companions with an owl who greeted us every evening, partridges and pheasants, wagtails and birds of prey. So quiet and yet close to the villages of Ballater and Braemar. If you love a hike, you have so many options to choose from. We enjoyed the 14 km walk up Creag nan Gabhar and down to Loch Callater with a picnic along and dip in a stream and we even had a swim in the lake. We also loved the warm, comfy interior of the cottage! We won’t forget the fireplace where we melted our marshmallows. Or the bath with the view… Thank you, Hilde and team, for a wonderful stay! Beautiful cottage! We woke up to a breathtaking view of the Scottish Highlands with grazing sheep. Very beautiful rooms and bathrooms, and everything was spotless. We will definitely come back!

Dear Gairnsheil Team, Our stay was as good as it can get! Absolutely Loved the cleanliness & decor at the stay. It would have been very helpful if the staircase near the driveway was fenced as well because the sheep had pooped all over them which was inconvenient to get in and out. Everything else was perfect!!
